What are Xtreme Lashes?

Xtreme Lashes is a revolutionary new product that lengthens and thickens eyelashes. Xtreme Lashes are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to individual eyelashes, one lash at a time, for a natural, elegant and luscious look. Xtreme Lashes is perfect for special occasions, weddings / honeymoons, as well as for everyday wear.

How long do Xtreme Lashes last?

When applied properly, semi-permanent Xtreme Lashes can last up to 2 months, depending on the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Our bonding agent is specially formulated with a unique waterproof bonding agent to last. Imitation glues may not last as long because of inferior bonding strength. To keep the same level of fullness, you will want to have refills done every 2 to 4 weeks.

What will happen during the procedure?

Upon your first application, Christine will carry out a 10 - 15 minute consultation, after which you will be reclined, covered in a comfy blanket, music of your choice will be put on in the background and you will have anti aging gel eye pads placed under you eyes. These patches are packed with restorative and rejuvenating ingredients to provide an added beauty treatment during Xtreme Lashes applications. The combination of collagen and aloe extract aid in restoring skin elasticity while Retinyl Palmitate and Green Tea Extracts have been shown to minimize sun damage and slow down the aging process.
From then on your eyes will remain closed until the end of the application. Christine will create an eyelash design, tailored specifically to enhance/correct your personal eye shape by applying Xtreme Lashes individually to your natural eyelashes. The procedure will take between 2 and 3 hours. It is so relaxing and comfortable that many clients fall asleep! Refills can be done usually in less than an hour.

How often should I get refills?

It is recommended you get a refill every 2 to 4 weeks. A natural eyelash falls off every 60 to 90 days on average due to the natural growth cycle and is naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash. At any given moment, each of your natural eyelashes is at a different stage of its cycle. A refill is needed to replenish the lashes that have completed their life cycle.

Can I use mascara with my Xtreme Lashes?

One of the advantages of Xtreme Lashes is never needing mascara again. However, if you love the mascara look and want to apply it, only water based mascara can be used. You can purchase our specially formulated Xtreme Lashes mascara from Christine at Face and Body. Do not use oil-based or waterproof mascara as these will dissolve the bonding agent and cause the Xtreme lashes to fall off.

How do I take care of my Xtreme Lashes?

To maintain your look and extend the life of your lashes, follow these easy care instructions:
1. Do not wash eyes or shower for 24 hours after lash application. Do not swim or spa for 48 hours after lash application to allow adequate time for bonding.
2. Be gentle with your lashes.
3. Avoid rubbing your eyes.
4. Avoid oil-based and waterproof mascaras and make-up removers. Use mascara sparingly and gently remove mascara with a water-based eye make-up remover.
5. Apply the Xtreme Lashes Longer LIfe Protective Coating 1-2 times weekly to preserve the look and extend the life of your lashes. Brush on from the base to tips. The coating also give the lashes a wonderful shine.
6. Get a refill every 2 to 4 weeks.
