Heliocare Capsules have been proven to provide sun protection of the skin from within. Containing the unique and patented Fernblock, a natural plant extract from the South American Polypodium fern it provides powerful skin specific anti-oxidant activity, helping protect the skin from UV damage.

You don't have to get sun burnt to damage your skin. UV rays can directly damage your DNA and create free radicals that collide with your proteins and lipids causing cellular damage. Even sunscreens with SPF50 can not stop all UV rays from penetrating the skin. Serious damage to these deeper skin cells cause the signs of photo-ageing, such as skin discolouration.

Heliocare sun protection supplements contain antioxidants from natural fern extract Polypodium leucotomos mixed with Green Tea and Beta-carotene extracts that are proven to help clean up free radicals before they damage important cellular proteins.

Directions for use:

Take one capsule a day in the morning to help prevent the signs of photo-ageing. Two a day in the morning during periods of high UV exposure (ideally 15 days prior to the high exposure, during the high exposure and 15 days after the period of high exposure). Heliocare Capsules are not a replacement for regular use of topical sunscreens you must combine use of the capsules with Heliocare broad spectrum UVA / UVB topical sunscreens applied to the skin.
