Excessive Sweating
Sweating is one of the most important ways in which the body loses heat, but if you sweat in amounts far greater than your body needs to control
your temperature then you might have hyperhidrosis. Excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis)
can be extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing, but you don’t need to put up with it.
A Social Problem
Excessive sweating is a physiological problem that has nothing to do with cleanliness.
It is not known why some people are affected and others are not.
However, studies show that 1/3 to 1/2 of people with hyperhidrosis have a relative with a similar problem,
suggesting that there may be a genetic cause.
Treatment Of Hyperhidrosis
Botox® and Dysport® can be used to control your excessive sweating by temporarily blocking the chemical signals
from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands, which stops the sweating.
You will notice a huge reduction in sweating in about 4 weeks of your first treatment and the results will last
between 6 month and 18 months. It is easy to miss some sweat glands at the initial treatment, but a review conducted
at 4 weeks will ensure complete success and any extra treatment is free.
