Invisalign Frequently Asked Questions
How does Invisalign Work?
You are given a series of Invisalign aligners which are changed every 2 weeks,
each of which moves the teeth gently and gradually.
You will need to revisit your expert every 6-8 weeks for checkups and to pick up your new set of aligners.
The average length of time it takes to adjust teeth is around 14 months, even when you are an adult.
The treatment is much more gentle than braces.
Your treatment with Invisalign
Invisalign treatment starts with a visit to your doctor,
who will examine you and develop a computer model of your treatment. Together with your doctor
you can review and agree on your treatment before we make a series of aligners that will fit only you.
Each aligner is slightly different, moving your teeth gradually into the desired position.
You wear each aligner for two weeks, before moving on to the next in the series.
Treatment length will vary depending on your case, but the average Invisalign treatment is twelve to eighteen months.
During treatment you should visit your doctor periodically, until it is determined that your treatment is complete.
Then all that remains is to show off your beautiful new smile!
