What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a treatment that works by stimulating the build up of the body’s own collagen to smooth out lines and wrinkles. Sculptra’s also restores lost facial volume, resulting in a fuller younger-looking face. The overall effect is a youthful appearance with gradual, natural-looking results.

Why Sculptra?

How many treatments will I need?
Usually 2 to 4 treatments are required and natural-looking effects should become noticeable after approximately 3 months. Treatments should be given on a monthly basis or 2 treatments at once.
How long will the treatment last?
Clinical studies have shown that the results of Sculptra can last for more than 3 years.
Is it safe?
No allergy testing is required before treatment.

The main ingredient of Sculptra is poly lactic acid which has been used in medicine for over 10 years and is biocompatible and biodegradable.
Does it hurt?
You may notice a brief burning sensation at the injection site. Your practitioner will also give you a local anaesthetic if necessary.
How much does it costs?
Sculptra is made up in advance and so treatments must be paid for in advance.
One treatment is £395 and a double treatment would be £650.
What must I bear in mind after the treatment?
Your practitioner will give you aftercare instructions. These include massaging the treated areas of your face in the first five days after treatment. All you need is five minutes, five times a day.
Are there any side effects?
The most common side effects include bleeding, tenderness, redness, bruising or swelling at the site of injection. The side effects generally resolve in 2-10 days.
