Resuming Safe Services

We look forward to welcoming you and have put your safety first. We have invested in specialist air purifiers that destroy the Covid19 virus, extra PPE and team training going above and beyond Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) and NHS guidelines.

For your safety, and our team, new policies and procedures specific to the Covid19 pandemic will be operating until government guidelines change. To help you plan your visit we have detailed what you can expect under these guidelines. We appreciate your support and compliance to ensure everyone’s safety.

Opening Hours

  • From the 6th July: Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm.
  • From the 17th August: Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.

Track & Trace

To comply with the government’s Track & Trace Policy our clinic team has been split into 2 separate operational teams that do not mix. Only one team will work at the clinic on a given day, so that if one team is required to isolate we can continue to see you safely. This has meant that we have had to alter our opening times.

A Safe Clinical Experience

As a medical clinic inspected by HIS your safety has always been our top priority which this is reflected in our excellent results published in our inspection reports. These measures have been further enhanced by:

  • Anti-virus Air Purifiers have been installed in every treatment room and reception. These are proven to kill airborne viruses ensuring that the air everyone breathes is safe.
  • Your practitioner will see you in PPE appropriate for your treatment which may include:
    • Face mask
    • Visor / googles
    • Apron
    • Gloves
  • Access to the clinic is by appointment only.
  • All patients arriving will be screened with a temperature and symptom check.
  • Social distancing measures are in place.
  • Electronic documentation where possible will be used to reduce touch points.

Appointment Rescheduling

If you have an appointment scheduled between 20th March and 31st October, we will call you as a priority to reschedule your appointment before the end of June. Please be flexible on days and times, as our team will be working flat out to reschedule over a thousand appointments. 

New Appointments

If you want to make a new appointment, please use the booking form to be added to the waiting list. As our phone lines will be extremely busy rescheduling appointments, please do not phone in June, unless responding to a voicemail from our team.

Video Consultations & Reviews

Consultations and reviews will be held using an encrypted video link, so you do not need to make extra journeys to the clinic. You will receive confirmation and reminders with your video link by email / SMS.


To help with social distancing the following procedures are in place:

  • You will only be allowed entry at your appointment time. No companions are allowed.
  • You can only bring one handbag / briefcase – no shopping bags.
  • You will be screened for Covid19 and checked in by a medical assistant.
  • You will be asked to apply hand sanitiser.
  • You will be escorted to your treatment room or seating.
  • Please attend without make-up, otherwise you will be asked to remove your make-up using wipes in the treatment room.
  • Depending on your treatment you may be asked to wear a mask or use a mouth wash.
  • Your practitioner will guide you to checkout after treatment.
  • You must exit the clinic once checked out.

Under HIS guidelines no refreshments or magazines will be available. Access to the toilet is by request only. Patients who arrive late might not be admitted and may lose their deposit.

Treatment Timings

To prevent treatment times over-running your practitioner can only perform the treatment scheduled for your appointment. For additional treatments you will need to make additional appointments.

Treatment Documentation

Before your appointment you will receive an email / SMS asking you to complete secure online forms or read information about your treatment. It is important that you do - as this is no longer possible in the reception area.

Where possible:

  • Your practitioner will use an iPad to record information and you will be asked to sign consent forms on the iPad (which will be sterilised in front of you before being given to you).
  • You will receive aftercare instructions and treatment plans by email after your appointment.

You will have a video review appointment scheduled with your practitioner where appropriate.


All patients can purchase skincare through our online shop (click this link for FREE shipping until the end of Aug). Entry to the clinic for the sole purposes of buying skincare will not be allowed. Patients attending a scheduled appointment can purchase skincare and should discuss this with their practitioner, at the start of their appointment, who will ask reception to prepare their order for checkout.

Payment & Pricing

Under HIS restrictions we are unable to accept cash, all payments must be made by card. We understand that these are difficult times for everyone and will absorb increased costs. However, reward points will be suspended until we are able to reintroduce the program.

Treatment Restrictions

We are currently unable to treat patients who are:
  • shielding;
  • have uncontrolled chronic health conditions;
  • and those over the age of 70.
Laser / IPL treatments - the area being treated must have been out of the sun for 4 weeks prior to your treatment date.
Medi-facial treatments - you must have been out of the sun for a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your treatment date. Tretinoin creams should be stopped 3 days before any medi-facial or peel.
Please inform our team, when they contact you, if there has been a change in your medical history, you are experiencing cold sores or had an active break out of acne since we have been closed.
